The cold water
Enjoyable land based fishing Part 2
Mr. Carlo Chonga Esmaquel

Continued from the preceding page Part 1.

I received many inquiries as follows,

Could you please advise me on some relatively safe land based spots that i could fish with my children.

Chonga found this spot with Google map last night.

Location: Lee Point Rocks

Tide: Outgoing (Very safe) Incoming tide should be dangerous for the beginners at the big tide.

Lee Point Rocks are on the very large and beautiful sand beach.

Chonga's very unique technique could help your land based fishing in the dry season.

Very, very important factor:

We recommend as follows,

● Ultra light spinning rod 4-8LB

● #1000-#2500 spinning reel in size

● Ultra light line system 4-14LB (Chonga used 4LB FIRELINE)

● Very effective small lures

Chonga's 5th. catch / Trevally

Chonga's 6th. catch / Trevally  (Small but nicely strong fish)

Chonga enjoyed catching these fishes very much.
On the other hand, he caught a 102cm Run-off Barramundi in April on the Daly river.
He was still satisfied with this land based fishing in the dry season very much.
