Last Monday was a public holiday.
I went fishing at Mindil-beach rocks in the morning.
I was standing knee-deep in the water.
The water was cold and very clear.
The tide was going out.
There were many oyster-rocks in the shallow water.
If it were usual, I use some soft-plastic lures.
But I wanted to use a hard-body lure.
I had to use a light-weight lure scarcely being caught on an obstacle under water.
So I chose to use a Rapala Original 130mm / Gold made of wood.
Rightly, I had to adjust the fishing rod to the light-weight lure.
As a result, I chose to use a 1-3kg very light fishing rod.
Fortunately, my choices paid off and caught and released five small barramundi on a Rapala Original 130mm / Gold made of wood.

After lunch, I went to East point.
I met Keith Watson (Doc) for the first time in 3 years.
The tide was coming in.
The productive fishing window was short at that point.
He just returned after 3 years' absence.
But he showed me his masterly skill in his barramundi fishing again.
As a result, he caught 52cm barramundi and one more small barramundi on KO Tackle TailBaitz.

Sunday morning Mangrovejack #42 KO TACKLE TAIL BAITZ

I got up early morning.
I heard the very wavy sea.
My fishing fields should be very rough again.

I went to an urban creek.
There were many leaves and branches that have decomposed on the surface of the water.
I thought that barramundi wouldn't take lures.
By the way, I was given the following lure by my very good friend, Chonga yesterday.
So I cast it along the mangroves and retrieved with stop and go.

As a result,

Saturday Rockcod #258 KO TACKLE TAIL BAITZ

We had a big rain last night.
And so the water temperature was cooler than yesterday.
The sea water regained the good level of oxygen.
That's very nice!

But there were too much fresh water on our shallows.

By the way, Brett gave KO TACKLE TAIL BAITZ to me before.
