Successful lure retrieving paterns for Barramundi by land based

Probably many anglers have an experience as follows,

Pattern 1

Barramundi follows your lure but won't take it.
She/he will give up following your lure after all.

Pattern 2

 

This above situation will be successful in the end.

Pattern 3

This above situation will be very successful in the end.

I recommend:

When you see Pattern 1, you shouldn't continue the same retrieving pattern.
I recommend you to change Pattern 1 to Pattern 2 with a rod action.
Finally, you will hook the fish up.

When you see Pattern 3, you shouldn't change Pattern 3 to Pattern 1.
Keep Pattern 3 to the end.
You will hook the fish up.
