陸っぱり用50ccスクーター6万キロ走った。
My 9 years old 50cc scooter will be replaced muffler, clutch-shoe, drive-belt and fuel-gauge this time.
Super mechanic Mr. Callum Gumball

My 50cc scooter is 9years old.
I bought it brand-new.
It'll have clocked up a mileage of 60,000kilometers, or more.
The odometer was melted by the direct rays of the sun.
My scooter was thrown into the saltwater Vestys lake by some young people once.
Then the scooter would normally be no longer usable.
However, my scooter still runs with my fishing rods. A super mechanic made my scooter what it is today.

Laying down one tool, picking up another, handling each with the strength and delicacy of the trained mechanic, Mr. mechanic, Callum Gumball is maintaining and repairing my scooter now.
I asked him to replace muffler, drive-belt and clutch-kit with clutch shoe, and add fuel gauge this time. Thanks, Callum!
He is very busy though.

57cm Saturday Barramundi #958-959
Maria MJ-1 110F
Mud flat at the Channel Island

I went to the mud flat at the Channel Island to fish.
It's a still long drive by my new 150cc scooter to get there.
It's very important to fish at the good timing on the mud flat.

The tide was moving fast.
The water was going out quickly.
The productive fish window was within 30minutes today.
It's hard to walk on the mud.
I picked my way along a walking hard ground with a stick.
The water was shallower than I had expected.
I chose a Maria MS 110F lure having a stream resistance body to suppress air resistance when cast.
This lure had a long flying distance, and capable of achieving its proper underwater posture and action on making a splashdown and after.
Soon, I caught a 57cm salt water barramundi.

69cm Barramundi #956
Sebile Swingtail
Channel Island land based fishing

I bought a new 150cc SYM Symphony from the Scooter Shop.
It was remodeled for my land based fishing with guarantee safety by Mr. Callum Gumball.
Callum is always the best mechanic to me.

This trip was new to my new scooter.
I went fishing to the Channel Island.
It's very windy.
I waded through the shallow water to the small island there.
The mud was sometimes deep.

The tide was going out.
The water was murky.
I failed to catch two barramundi first.
One of them was a nice sized one.
This fish damaged the top line guide of my bait-cast fishing rod.
I had a spinning rod also.
Casting the Sebile Swingtail, I felt a small strike by fish.
I hooked a heavy fish and controlled the drag pressure against the drawing by the fish.
As a result, I caught a 69cm nice barramundi.

Nice stainless rod holders are welded on the both sides with the quality of being safe.

The knee deep mud made very difficult to draw my legs.
I tried to move forward at a crawl.
If it happened while the tide was coming in, I couldn't survive under the condition like this.

My 8years old scooter is still in good condition even today.
Living Near The Water For Fishing

My scooter's battery has gone flat. Worse, I found a nail stuck into the tire for the weekend.

So I bought new battery and tire from the Scooter Shop.
When I went for holidays for 10days, the battery went flat because the scooter hadn't been started up daily.

My 50cc scooter is 8years old now.
I can see some aged deterioration of the plastic and rubber parts because I have no garage.
However, there is no fault in the electrical system and engine at all.
I have my scooter serviced by the Scooter Shop when necessary.

My scooter came back from repair this afternoon.

This picture was taken by Mr. Danel Hartley Allen for NT News.

Something was wrong in the crank case last night.
It's very hard to drive it.
And my scooter came back from repair this afternoon.  ъ( ゚ー^)♪

I bought a 50cc scooter in 2006.
It traveled at a maximum speed of 52 kilometers per hour.
I'll soon have clocked up a mileage of 37,000 kilometers.
It became a very old machine.

However, I have to keep using this scooter because I'm 'a not rich man'.
Therefore, I needed a very solid shop and reliable technicians near my residence.

I found a very nice scooter shop two years ago.
Even buying at the other shop, they fixed all damages without a glum facial expression.
They're very nice people!

Thanks to
Mr. Darren Ampt
Mr. Callum Gamble
