I was about to go out for fishing this morning.

Oh no!
I put many lures in a big bowl temporarily recently because I have been very busy at work.

Finally, I chose to take it easy at home again.
I gave up going out for fishing this morning after all.

By the way, I thought that the above custom has taken on the Australian life-style.
According to Andrew, it's a "Northern Territory lure rack".

I scheduled, "I will not," but afterword I changed my mind and went out for fishing.

An original REBEL MINNOW 115 mm was much better than their current model. 
I thought that an original one had been a "remarkable improvement" on the current model.

The water was very, very clear.
I caught a small queenfish #20 on REBEL MINNOW 115 mm in a very strong water current.
I has just started using Sufix 832 30LB for my Shimano Scorpion 1500XT.
The flight distance of a lure was improved very much to compare with FINS 30LB.
However, I prefer FINS 30LB to Sufix 30LB for my bait-cast reel.

Saturday morning Barramundi #876 REBEL MINNOW 115mm

The surface of the sea is slightly wavy which means very good for catching a barramundi on our shallows.

The surface of the sea is flat which means hopeless for catching a nice sized barramundi on our shallows.

However, even if the surface of the sea is slightly wavy, a nice sized barramundi won't come near our shallows during the full moon time.

Maybe not all, but most here.

I went fishing to the most difficult urban rocks this morning.
REBEL MINNOW 115mm was a very effective lure under the condition like this.

I used a new custom handle for my Shimano scorpion 1500XT for the first time.
It's made from duralumin.
4 sus bearings.

I failed to hook a nice sized barramundi at the first rocks.

At the second rocks, I caught following fishes.
These fishes were small but it's better than nothing.

Sunday afternoon 51cm Urban Barramundi #819 REBEL MINNOW

We had some nice monsoon rains recently.
So I had very nice fishing results last week.
We need more rains.

The tides were good today.
The surface of the sea was slightly wavy. (Very good)
But much fresh water has been staying at the surface of the sea because of heavy rains last night.
Barramundi won't come to the shallows very much temporarily.

I tried to find a good water on our shallows.
I needed a really good lure under the condition like this.

This is the best minnow which can swim attractively to a barramundi through many rocks under the shallow waters.
Original type is much better than new type.

Barramundi was watching over REBEL MINNOW intently while I was twitching this lure.
Suddenly, he snatched the lure.
Turned in another direction.
Started swimming 7 m toward the open sea like a jet-ski.
And then jumped twice.
I heard very attractive lure sounds while I was fighting with this barramundi.
That is REBEL MINNOW 110 mm!

Thursday night 57cm Barramundi #787 REBEL MINNOW

Mr. Matt West (The champion of Barra Classic 2010) said, 'The new lures are in stock, Hiro!'
There were some very attractive lures in a box at Fishing & Outdoor World.

Those lures were my favorite REBEL minnows.

Chartreuse (lime green), shiny silver and gold are very effective for this cold season's clear water in color.

I went fishing to the small urban creek.
The surface of the sea was flat (bad for my land based barramundi fishing).
Moreover, there were many people on the beach tonight.

However, REBEL Minnow / TIGER FIRE was very, very good.
Only problem that they had weak bibs!


As a result, I caught a very nice 57cm barramundi.
The cold season's sea barramundi is the best fish for eating in Darwin.
This season's barramundi is the best target fish of the game-fishing by land based.
Very strong!

After all, the lure was a very important factor tonight.
I must keep two more REBEL minnows.

By the way,
American lure brands, REBEL, BOMBER and SMITHWICK make the best green in color.

I think they totally know about it.

I've known there were many Breams at this point.
However, I didn't want to catch a Bream tonight.

The tide was good.
But the timing was too early, it could not be helped because I had to work before fishing.
