Sunday afternoon
52cm Urban Barramundi #824
SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL 115mm

I have caught more sea barramundis at the timing of 'Before dark' than 'Tide change' in this season every year.
It's too hot in the day time!
A nice sized barramundi prefers staying in deep water to staying in very shallow water in the day time in this season.
Some very small barramundis still take the bait in the day time in this season on our shallows.

The tides were very good today.
But I didn't catch any barramundis in the day time today.

The swells of the sea was around 1.5m just before dark.
So I used a big 115mm Mongrel.
There were many big rocks under the water.

However, my fishing rod and reel were very effective for casting and retrieving a big 115mm Mongrel.
As a result, I caught a very strong barramundi just before dark.

This rod and reel are specially arranged for using a SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL.
Well balanced!
