Arnhem Land land based fishing
Barramundis and Archer fish
Mr. Rick Mooney

I received an e-mail from Mr. Rick Mooney last night.
Rick sometimes sent me very attractive information and fishing data of  the land based fishing in Arnhem land.

Hi Hiro,

Good to see you back - and catching some nice fish!

It was very windy here this week so no boat fishing for us! I decided to check out a shore based location where we can fish in an estuary and sometimes catch some barra, it was a bit quiet on the last of the run out but I managed to land a couple of fish. Also caught a big archer fish that took the tail of the squidgy fish before coming back for the rest of it! The same thing happened with the smaller barra, you can see the tail-less squidgy fish in the photo. I think everything was a bit slow on the bite today and that might explain it - at least he came back for another go!

The bigger fish was just legal and the smaller went about 50cm

Cheers, Rick
