I asked him to send the data and his comment to me.
I received e-mail from Mr. Matthew Hubber tonight.
Dear Mr. Nakamura,
Thank you for your enquiry.
The rod the barramundi was caught on was a St. Croix legend elite 10-17lb casting rod.
The reel was a curado 200E7.
The line was sunline castaway 50lb with schnider 70lb monofilament leade tied with a simple albright knot.
The barramundi took a live cheribin bait floating 2m under the surface on a float in 3m of water.
The location was the mouth of Tuna Creek, Roper River NT 28 April 2012.
The barra was 103cm in length.
Hope you are well, I enjoyed listening to you on tales from the tinnie.
Kind Regards,
Matt Hubber
