Broadcast on Saturday mornings from 5am on 105.7 ABC Darwin, Tales from the Tinny is a fishing program... Sort of. The crew Tim Moore and Rob Smith, stand tall and proud on the casting deck, rods in hand but not much in mind, while producer Mario Faggion mans bilge and tiller and miraculously keeps the whole thing afloat and somewhat on course.

It's build-up time and that means more fishos are packing up their boats and hitting the water.
It's also time to consider some water and boating safety tips.
You can get plenty of useful information this Saturday when the Tinny Boys team up with The Amateur Fishermen's Association of the NT (AFANT), Water Police, Department of Transport, Bureau of Meteorology, Coastguard and Surf Lifesaving NT for a build-up boat ramp broadcast.
The boys are taking the tinny to Dinah Beach boat ramp this Saturday morning from 5am. Join Smithy, Tim and Mario, and special guest Boof the Barra, for free fish pies and iced coffees as you drop the boat in at Dinah Beach.
