Therefore, I couldn't expect to catch a barramundi.

The tide was about to stop.

Trevally on small popper Megabass Pop X Mr. Dave Krantz

The surface of the sea is flat or slightly rippled.
The above condition should be bad for catching a barramundi on the shallow water.
But the condition like this should be good for catching a trevally on a small popper.

My very good friend, Mr. Dave Krantz who organizes my fishing column of NT News caught a trevally on a small popper.

Monday night Barramundi #861 SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL SHIMANO BORDERLESS 420M-T

I went fishing to an urban beach after work.

The tide was coming up.
The water current was slower than ideal.
I used Shimano Borderless 420M-T (420cm) rod.
I got much longer distance of casting lures than usual.

A nice sized fish broke the fishing line and got away with my favorite lure.
Yo-zuri SS-minnow has gone.

Finally, 420cm long rod brought me a barramundi tonight.

Sunday Corroborree Billabong Saratoga, Barramundis, Tarpons and so on Mr. Leigh Eldridge Mr. Ash Winks Hiro

I went fishing to the Corroborree Billabong with two super fishos.

Mr. Leigh Eldridge is a fly fishing coach of mine. (White cap)
Mr. Ash Winks is a billabong fishing coach of mine. (Black cap)

Ash was a super captain today.

First, I couldn't catch any nice sized fish with my own lures and method.
They gave me some advice about lure and steered my billabong fishing to the best result.

Leigh and Ash were originally using pumpkin-seed lures.

Leigh caught many Saratogas and Tarpons today.

Ash caught a Sleepy cod.
He caught Tarpon, Barramundi, Catfish and Mouth almighty also.


I used Ash's pumpkin-seed lure.

My 55cm very gold coloured barramundi with a pumpkin seed

Pumpkin seed lure with 1/4oz #1/0

Leigh caught the biggest barramundi of the day.

My 73cm the biggest Saratoga of the day

The water became murky in the afternoon.
I caught a small barramundi with SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL at last.

Ash caught many Saratoga with pumpkin seed lure today.

I used a new custom handle for my Shimano scorpion 1500XT for the first time.
It's made from duralumin.
4 sus bearings.

I failed to hook a nice sized barramundi at the first rocks.

At the second rocks, I caught following fishes.
These fishes were small but it's better than nothing.
