The sea was too rough to fish on our shallows again.
I had to find a calm water.

Urban creek!

My work finished at 4:30pm.
Today's highest tide was 7.33m at 18:05pm.
I waited for the peak at home.
And then I drove my 50cc old scooter to the urban creek.

By the way, my Stella 2500FE is in service now.
So I used Shimano Sustain 2500FG tonight.

In addition, Mr. Matt West made the following rig for me.
As a result,
I lost a nice sized barramundi at the first cast.

Saturday Mark's boat and truck That's Darwin life! That's why I love Darwin.

The sea was rough.
I saw a small aluminum dingy was cutting the water and skimming over many waves.
Wonderful!
Great!

I asked Mark for me to take some pictures with his nice truck and boat.

Mark's 36 years old Land Rover.  Sooooo nice!

Mark is very kind.

He put very nice hand-made transom-pods with buoyancy.
So he can use a big 30hp outboad engine.
It's an ingenious contrivance!
A stabilizer fin fitted the outboad engine also.

I thought that it' a totally very nice idea.

Very beautiful shape.

I think,
Darwin people value their own individuality.
They treasure old cars and boats.
They are ingenious!

Saturday I understood why Texas rig could be very effective for some waters. Rockcod #311 Z MAN Swimmer Z

I learned a Texas rig from the super fisho, Stewie Martin.
I made my own Texas rig this morning.
I went fishing near my place.

It looked as if a mullet had been eating microscopic plants on the rock.
I coulld produce a naturally nice motion on my soft plastic swim bait.

No rain!
The water of the sea was rough.
The surface of the sea was dotted with many fallen leaves and dead trees.
I don't like this condition.

I found a clean brown coloured water.
I chose a very reliable YO-ZURI SS-MINNOW.
I didn't put any actions on my lure.
I just retrieved it.

Sunday afternoon 51cm Barramundi #845 SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL That's a good sign!

My fishing fields were too wavy to fish today too.

Too fast or too slow water current or very wavy water should be avoided.

I and my very good friend, Stephen Lew went fishing to 'Jetty X' just before the lowest tide because there was a calm water there.
We waited for the first incoming tide.
There were nice two-colour waters.
But we didn't get any hits.
More worse, I lost two RAPALA lures snagging with someone's dead fishing lines.
It happened again at this point.

The best tide shifts with the best fishing point every hour.

So I went to Point B and I waited for the first incoming tide there.
It's a very small and short fish-window.
I caught a 51cm very beautiful silver-white barramundi on Squidgy pro mongrel / Aussie Herring 90mm.
Much excess sand was swept away by torrential downpours.
I saw clean oyster-rocks and many small crabs.
That's a very good sign!
We can expect a great April for our land based barramundi fishing.
