The water was very clear.
I went fishing to Ben's Point (Mr. Ben Maunder).
I saw Ben there.

It's a very Rockcod day today to Ben.
He caught 10 Rockcods this morning.

I caught 2 Barramundis. v(*'-^*)-☆

I've never seen red one before in Darwin.

Sunday family fishing Barramundi by land based Mr. Grant Hatcher

Thank you very much for your kindness and friendship, Grant and Liam.
They spent their important family time for land based fishing again.
Their result gave me some important ideas on my land based fishing.

Liam and I went to the Point X rocks this morning on the last of the outgoing tide and I landed the little barra in the photo plus I had another lot bigger barra hit my lure but not hook up. Liam caught a small mouth almighty [or jaw fish is another name for it,no photo sorry].

I got my fish on a 80mm Slick rig squidgie in drop bear colour,Sedona 2500 reel with 14lb fireline,25lb schnieder leader and raider rod.Braid to leader knot is a slim beauty.

The water was very clear.

I saw Mr. Steve Osborne at Point D.
He had a very nice balanced baitcast reel and rod with him.

Steve has the best fishing tackle.
He has many high-end high-performance fishing tackles.
Very nice!
And his safety gears are always perfect! (^o^)/


I waited for Barramundi coming to the shallow water.
I could see him chasing small bait fishes.
My SQUIDGY FISH/BLACK GOLD was very similar to them.

The chartreuse is a very effectual colour for a very clear water.

Rockcod would bite any lures with any colours.
The chartreuse was a very attractive colour for Rockcod too.
