I think the real barramundi season has come in Darwin.
I caught two small barramundis at Mindil Beach first.
And then I went to Fannie Bay.
The tide was going out.
The water was clear.
The surface of the sea was wavy.
I liked that condition.
I chose a SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL tonight.
I used a jig-head of 1/4oz. #1/0 as a substitute for MONGREL's genuine hook.
Strictly speaking, the genuine hook should be much better.
But it's very hard to find a genuine hook now.
This nice sized barramundi was caught around two hours before the lowest tide of the day.
Outgoing tide!
That means that the activity of barramundi has been getting higher.
