Barramundi #1174
Bomber Long A 14A

Season 4 of Million Dollar Fish is on again.
There are more possibilities you will get that this season.
Nothing will start unless you act first, though.
A friend of mine made a brooch of barramundi for me.

This is a lucky charm.
The present statue is the second in brooch of barramundi.
This barramundi has a red tag on the back.
I went fishing at Mindil Beach rocks on September 22.
The tides were delicate.
I knew the sea water was 'Not good condition' the moment I looked.
The colour and transparency were similar to fresh water pond.
It's not too much better in barramundi fishing when the sea water is this kind of the colour and transparency.
I caught and released a small barramundi somehow.
The small barramundi was hiding behind rocks at a depth of 50cm.

This was my 1174 barramundi on lure by land based.
I used Bomber Long A 14A.

This lure is a standard item for barramundi fishing.
By the way, I have recorded all barramundi I caught on lure in my blog.
Using those data, AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be able to predict the productive fishing windows in quite sure detail in future.

53cm Barramundi #1171
Barramundi #1172-1173
Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm
Squidgy Pro Mongrel 90mm
Squidgies Fish 70mm

September 15 was my birthday.
Hiro is 58 now.
I cannot express enough my feelings of my appreciation to the large-minded selective readers and the editors of Sunday Territorian.
September 16 was Sunday.
I went fishing at Channel Island.
I could catch and release 3 small barramundi somehow.
The situation of the act of preying by barramundi as a predator is daily or weekly changing.
They were moving about in search of jelly prawns until recently.
I found that they are positively interested in mullets again.
As a result, I caught a 53cm barramundi on Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm first as follows.

Second, I caught a small barramundi on Squidgy Pro Mongrel 90mm as follows.

Third, I caught a small barramundi on Squidgies Fish 70mm as follows.

When jelly prawns are abundant, barramundi will switch prey and feed on them very positively.
That period has been coming to an end.
This can make the barramundi fishing much easier.
We will be relieved of the frustration that barramundi don't positively chase our lures.
The impact is very strong when barramundi hunt mullet as a prey.
I have been obsessed by the impact strength of barramundi.

Barramundi #1168-1169
50cm barramundi #1170
Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm

The sea barramundi is very cautious.
It's to your advantage to fish alone.
On the other hand, we must look out for crocodiles on shore even Mindil beach.
Anyone fishing alone does so at his or her own risk.

The number of sea barramundi is not many in my usual fishing locations this year.
The absolute number is much smaller than I expected.
Especially, larger barramundi with 55cm or more are remarkably decreased.

I went fishing at Mindil beach rocks on September 8.
The tides were delicate.
The fish weren't responding very much.
You'd stay at home than go out for fishing on lure by land based on such a day.
At this sort of time, I try to catch a barramundi hiding in a crack of rock or between rocks in shallow water.
The shock leader line was thinned this time in order to obtain a more natural motion of the lure.
As a result, I caught two small barramundi, one on Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm, and the other on Zerek Live Cherabin 100mm.

I went fishing at Channel Island on September 9.
There were two young people there near me.
You'd better not fish near someone because the barramundi come to stay away from you.
As a result, I caught a 50cm barramundi on Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm at a distance from them.

This was my 1170th barramundi on lure by land based.

Barramundi #1164-1167
Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90 mm

Most barramundi have gone to a place where a lot of jelly prawns appeared.
So there aren't a lot of barramundi in my usual fishing locations.
However, it's not that I can't catch any barramundi at all.
This is little, if any, hope that barramundi will take my lures.

In other words, there aren't a lot of jelly prawns in my usual fishing locations.
However, there are saltwater ghost shrimps in my usual fishing locations.
Usually, a saltwater ghost shrimp is considered the same kind of jelly prawns among my friends.
I think, strictly speaking, a saltwater ghost shrimp is not of jelly prawn, they are a kind of jelly prawns because saltwater ghost shrimp is much bigger than jelly prawn in size.

This saltwater ghost shrimp is as much as 65 mm in length.
To tell the truth, it is not sure to what degree this is the saltwater ghost shrimp.

Jelly prawns were 35 mm at most in length in my experience.
I normally match the lure with the saltwater ghost shrimp in the jelly-prawn season because it is very difficult to use 35 mm sized lures for me.

Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow is 90 mm in length.
This lure moves like a saltwater ghost shrimp.
