Barramundi #1185
Catfish #48
Golden Snapper #21
Rockcod #343
Blue Salmon #8
Trevally #49

Though it's Wednesday, the Channel Island was very crowded with fishing people.
I should avoid fishing locations where people crowd.
Thursday on November 22, I went fishing at Fannie Bay rocks.
There wasn't anyone at this place but me.
I used a 6'6" medium-action fishing rod.
Usually, a medium-action fishing rod is cheaper than a fast-action fishing rod.
I think a medium-action fishing rod useful for beginners.
You can enjoy lure fishing at reasonable price.
The result will be better than you expected.
As a result, I caught a catfish, golden snapper, rockcod and barramundi on Zerek Live Cherabin 100mm having a white colour.

Thursday on November 23, I went fishing at Mindil Beach rocks.
The weather of the wet season is unstable.
The thunder was rolling in the distance.
I used Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm having a gold colour.
I used a 8'6" long-sized medium-action fishing rod.
As a result, I caught a 50cm blue salmon.
This fish was a good fighter.

Soon, the thunderstorm broke.
I didn't want to be struck by lightning.

Sunday on November 25,
I went fishing at a place near my place.
As was to be expected, there were not many people there.
I used Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm and 8'6" long-sized medium-action fishing rod again.
As a result, I caught a 50cm GT.
This fish was very tenacious.

I made sushi with GT.
I had normal sushi and zuke-sushi for a late lunch.
The flesh in fish that was marinated in soy sauce and mirin seasoning with a little ginger.

When making sushi, forming of bite sized sweet-vinegar rice is the highlight for sushi chef to show his technique.

Barramundi #1183-1184
Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm
81cm Barramundi by Mr. Matt Cook

My favorite tide is often asked if there are spring tide and neap tide.
My favorite tide is often asked if there are high tide and low tide.
I basically don't have my likes and dislikes in tide.
I think that, if the tide-water is moving, the barramundi will take lures when conditions are right.
After all, the best tide shifts with the best fishing point every hour.
Saturday on November 17, I went back to a shallow water near town after a nearly 4 year absence.
It's very neap tide.
The water current was going out very slowly.
I hooked two barramundi while I was wading nearly knee-deep in water.
As a result, I could catch and release one barramundi on Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm.

Tuesday on November 20, I went fishing at Channel Island with my very good fishing friend, Matt Cook (Cookie).
Cookie is really good at fishing barramundi.
There was a moderately fast water current.
He was using Zerek Live Cherabin 100mm.
His retrieval speed of the lure is basically faster than you expected.
Unfortunately, the midges were bothering us.
If you are bitten by a midge, the bite itches badly, aches slightly and continuously.
The midges are worse than the sand flies in damage.
In addition, Cookie's knee hurt and my lower-back also hurt.
In such a situation, he caught a 81cm nice barramundi.

My efforts didn't pay off.
It started thundering.
Cookie and I gave up fishing.
There was a very short rain too.
I heard that someone caught a 71cm barramundi after we left there.
A short shower brings us a big chance to catch barramundi on a sunny day.

Wednesday on November 21, I went fishing at East Point rocks during the incoming tide.
I caught and released a small barramundi on Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm.

To bring out the potential of Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm
Barramundi #1182

I was hesitating to go fishing with my lower-back hurting.
On the other hand, I was panting to have a go at a new fishing rod.
I went fishing at Buffalo creek after work.
It was about 20minutes away from my place by my 150cc scooter.
Buffalo creek provides many places for the general public to simply enjoy fishing with ease and attract them to the fishing.
When Darwin had a small population, the poo-shooter brought about a good result of fishing.
This causes damage way more than it does profit.
I want to think that Buffalo creek is not what it used to be.
The tidal water was coming into the creek.
My new fishing rod is Samurai Refraction 6'6" Very Fast 10-17lb having a thinner and lighter constitutive elements.
Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm has achieved many good fishing results in my usual fishing locations.
I started using this fishing rod in order to bring out the potential of Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm.
I think that a fishing rod has a very significant leadership role to play in bringing out the potential of lures.
I have a big container full of lures at home.
In addition, I have many fishing rods.
The first tool I need to decide on has to be a combination of fishing rod and lure corresponding to the fishing location.
The second tool I need to decide on has to be a combination of fishing reel and line system.
As a result, I couldn't land a 50cm barramundi, but I could catch and release a very small barramundi.
It seems that my attempt has gone well in this case.
Not bad!

53cm Barramundi #1180
50cm Barramundi #1181
Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm

It was raining on Friday night.
The rocks were slippery at Myilly Point.
I was worried about the bad influence of the rain water to the seawater in my usual fishing locations.
My expectation came true.
I nearly fell down on the rocks.
I always walk with a stick during my fishing time.
There are several reasons for that.
I have a backache.
There is a danger of falling and getting injured.
Using the stick with a pipe and cap made of PVC 20mm in diameter, I can safely walk while recognizing the state around the feet in the seawater as a measure against stingray and stonefish.
As a result, I could catch and  release a 53cm barramundi on Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm.

53cm Barramundi

The next day, I went fishing at East Point rocks.
The seawater was 30cm - 50cm deep, very shallow.
As you know, Yo-zuri Pin's Minnow 90mm has gained an absolute trust in me in the case of the shallow-water fishing.
I caught and released trevally and barramundi there.
It is very, very important that the fishing rod must get along well with the lure.
