I need a true suspending lure for our cold waterfishing.
What's a true suspending lure?
When you stop reeling, the lure stops at the depth that the lure was at that point.
The lure just hovers in place.
The buoyancy of sea water is different from the buoyancy of fresh water.
Using a saltwater having a salt concentration of sea water, after several experiments, I finally succeeded in making an effective suspending lure for our cold water fishing.
This lure was originally a floating lure.
I added or reduced the sprit rings.
I changed the sizes of the treble hooks.
Today's tides were big and so the productive fishing windows were very short.
The moon was bright and so I didn't go to the shore.
I went to an urban creek to fish with Mitsutoshi Sato.
Delayed by the quicker tide than I had expected, we started late.
The water was very clear and still cold.
The time allowed to fish in that productive fishing window was limited to only 10minutes.
We caught these barramundi within 10minutes after we arrived at this creek tonight.
We used the suspending minnows with fine adjustment.
We released them back to the water.
