The quietest season for the land based fishing

It might seem hard to believe.
From the middle of August to the beginning of October, it's the quietest season for the land based barramundi fishing in my fishing locations every year without an exception.
Some people believe that barramundi will be taking lures from the middle of August because the water temperature is getting warmer.

That's an information regarding the land based fishing in my fishing locations.

You still can fish many Spanish-mackerel in a blue  water.
You still can fish some nice sized Thredfin-salmon  and really big catfish in an estuary of the big river.
If you have a boat, you will be able to catch many fish from the middle of August to the beginning of October.

By the way, I went fishing to the Channel Island.
Darren caught a barramundi Mitsutoshi hooked a barramundi but I didn't hook and catch any barramundi.
I caught a 45cm nice local flathead on a suspending lure.
The instant I stopped twitching a suspending lure, this flathead took it.
