The tides were very slow around that time.
That suddenly lowered the seawater temperature in shallow waters around Mindil beach.
As a result, sea-barramundi would't dare to come into the shallow water.
That is, it resulted in a phenomenon that the shallow water is colder than the deep water.
If the water-temperature difference between the shallow-water temperature and the deep-water temperature is moderated, sea-barramundi will come into the shallow water again.
Regardless of the cold-water temperature, however, they will come into the shallow water again.
That is the reason why I couldn't catch any barramundi on the week end.
I think, it is a good opportunity to let Darwin people know how to slice the sea-barramundi's fillets for the sashimi.
I sometimes eat a sea-barramundi which measures 55cm-79cn in overall length.
The 55cm-79cm sized sea-barramundi normally have no parasite in their bodies.
The fish fillets must be hygienically processed.
However, you shouldn't wash the filleted fish with water as much as possible.
It will spoil the taste.
Please chill the fillet in the refrigerator before slicing.
These are how I do it.

Thank you very much.
