The heavy rain caused the sea surface to be covered with much freshwater in my usual fishing locations.
It's not easy for us to fish.
I thought that the water condition in some places would clear up in the late afternoon because of the heavy rain for the first time in a while.
I went to a 3-6m deep water in the Darwin harbor to fish.
I cast and retrieved my lures along by the rock wall.
The water was murky in colour.
The sea surface was slightly rippled.
There were concerns that the deepness of this 6m deep water, which was located near the town, provided a situation for capturing barramundi to which capturing target barramundi were less likely to be cautious about in spite of the flat sea surface.
I hopped my lure up and down near the bottom first and then retrieved steadily.
As a result, I caught a 60cm urban saltwater barramundi there.
