I haven't updated this blog frequently.
I went fishing often.
But until yesterday, I hadn't caught any barramundi since September 27.

I finally caught a barramundi on our urban shallow water this evening.

Mr. Alex Patsalides caught the 6th. metery barramundi by land base so far this year on October 24.

I have mutual fishing teacher with Alex.
Mr. George Voukolos Jr is a mutual fishing teacher of ours.
George caught the 21st. metery barramundi by land base so far this year.
They just like the land based metery barramundi fishing.
Anyway, they are the top grade super fisho.

I asked Alex to give me some information.
And then I received message from him as follows,

Caught at Daly river on black & gold DOA bait buster, Shimano Core 100 reel, Venom 4kg baitcaster rod, retrieve winding in slow and jigging, she put up a good fight, released her after 20mins of swimming

Very yummy Trevally's sashimi in Salsa I pited this fish. Trevally #43 SALMO STING 9F

This fish was bleeding so much when I landed him.
I pitted him.
That's the reason why I killed him while feeling sorry.

 I wanted to repay his death.
Salsa is a good way to eat small trevally.

Trevally's raw slices

Salt (2), Sugar (1), Black pepper, Basil and Rosemary

These above seasonings may be sprinkled on top.
Cool these slices in the refrigerator for an hour.

Remove these slices from the refrigerator, and then should be washed quickly and dried quickly.

White wine (1) and Wine vinegar (2)

Pickle these slices in a plastic bag for 15 - 30 minutes.

Salsa

Tomato, Green capsicum, Onion and Garlic should be chopped.
Lemon should be sliced.
Salt, Tabasco.

Extra virgin olive oil

This is the Darwin style. Barramundi sashimi Slices of raw barramundi

To more completely and neatly deblood fish including blood penetrated into tissues in deblooding fish.
It's very important when you kill the barramundi you caught..
Being good preservation, you can eat these slices of raw barramundi in sashimi style in 2 days.

I really like this fish raw recently because I found a very nice method to eat slices of raw barramundi at last.

Normally, I eat slices of raw fish in sashimi style with soy sauce and wasabi.
In this case, I won't recommend that.
It's not suitable for slices of raw barramundi.

After all this, I have recently realized that.
I noticed that I need something sweet dressing with roasted sesame to eat slices of raw barramundi.
This dressing is suitable for boiled asparagus and broccoli also.

KEWPIE Japanese Dressing with roasted sesame.
It has quite a rich taste.
Barrmundi is basically light in taste.
That's why this dressing is suitable for the barramundi sashimi very much.

You can make these following slices with the above middle portion of the fillet.

 This dressing is suitable for baby endive and coriander also.

I think that this is the Darwin style.
It's our own style.

The crew Tim Moore and Rob Smith, stand tall and proud on the casting deck, rods in hand but not much in mind, while producer Mario Faggion mans bilge and tiller and miraculously keeps the whole thing afloat and somewhat on course.

It's build-up time and that means more fishos are packing up their boats and hitting the water.
It's also time to consider some water and boating safety tips.

You can get plenty of useful information this Saturday when the Tinny Boys team up with The Amateur Fishermen's Association of the NT (AFANT), Water Police, Department of Transport, Bureau of Meteorology, Coastguard and Surf Lifesaving NT for a build-up boat ramp broadcast.

The boys are taking the tinny to Dinah Beach boat ramp this Saturday morning from 5am. Join Smithy, Tim and Mario, and special guest Boof the Barra, for free fish pies and iced coffees as you drop the boat in at Dinah Beach.

I talked with Tim, Rob and Mario this morning.
My English was funny like always.
