How about trying barramundi sushi?
Using marinated-sliced flesh of barramundi

Method for preparing barramundi sushi at home.



Hygiene is always a concern; The fish must be very, very flesh.
  • Bleed fish properly
  • Keep fish in esky properly
  • Must keep the fish in ice cooled seawater at any moment.
Firstly, prepare marinated barramundi sliced flesh in soy sauce, sugar and ginger.
It will take 4hours at least in the fridge.
Ginger: You only need a very, very small quantity.




Sliced barramundi flesh marinated in sweet soy sauce and ginger for 6hours in the fridge.

Secondly, prepare vinegared rice beforehand.




You can buy necessary materials in the same store, Woolworth or Coles.

When rice is cooked (steamed), prepare a big bowl and put rice with vinegar (OBENTO SUSHI SEASONING) in it and supplying cooling air to the mixture from a blower.

How to use OBENTO SUSHI SEASONING:
Sprinkle 3tbsp of Obento Sushi Seasoning to 1cup of cooked (steamed) rice in a big bowl.




That looks vinegared rice having vinegar too much at the beginning.

Using spatula, fold the sushi seasoning into the rice.
Let the rice cool to room temperature before using to make sushi.




You need to fan for blowing off water from the vinegared rice.




Put the vinegared rice on a nori, and put sliced marinated barramundi on the rice, and finally fold the nori.
You may sprinkle lime juice or put some wasabi paste if you like.

I like to eat 4rolls of this sushi at one time.
It's very, very tasty.
