Mr. Dave Krantz created a very nice vertical jigging rigs.
Dave is a very able fishing journalist and editor.
I think that he is a very important person for developing our fishing culture of Darwin because of his group of attractive anglers.
And he is supporting my fishing column of NT News.
I asked Dave to send some pictures of his developing jigs to me.
Dave's e-mail as follows,
Hello Hiro
Here are a few pics from jigging on Saturday.
Hubble and I wanted to catch a few fish and test out the new bluewater thrasher rig.
We caught lots of macks and some GTs. Double hookups every drift with some sharkings. Hard work!
Some sharkings but we landed a few dozen fish among the sharks. Mostly released.
At one point Hubble hooked a shark and we were able to retrieve both his lure and another one from some other angler that the shark already had attached.
Eventually we were too tired to keep catching fish so headed home via Lee Point and got a couple of tuna.
cheers
