Where to fish by the tide?
That they may understand this theory, I'll reveal my own secret.

It's still raining a bit of over my usual fishing locations.
Today's afternoon and evening were very wavy as usual in our rainy season.
I found it difficult to find the good productive fishing windows under the circumstances.
Today's tides were very good for my land based barramundi fishing.
Frequently asked questions are found in my website.
They don't know which tide is the best for their fishing.
I will answer that.
I also don't know which tide is best for their fishing because I don't know about their usual fishing locations.
The best tide shifts with the best fishing point every hour.
That they may understand this theory, I'll reveal my own secret map about Mindil Beach.

A: Outgoing tide 50-70cm deep water
B: Incoming tide 30-50cm deep water
C: Outgoing tide 50-70cm deep water
D: Incoming tide 30-50cm deep water
E: Incoming tide 30-50cm deep water
F: Outgoing tide 50-70cm deep water
G: Outgoing tide 50-70cm deep water
H: Outgoing tide 50-70cm deep water

After an ideally large-rainfall-wet season, I can catch much more barramundi on lures by land based in Mindil Beach than you expect.

Furthermore, weather conditions influence the results of fishing.
These are negative factors for my land based barramundi fishing.
  • Too much fresh water on shallows
  • Very windy
  • Very wavy
  • Very flat sea surface on shallows
  • Sudden change of water temperature

The good fishing results are usually not  expected under the above conditions.

However, things do not go by theory alone.
It is no great wonder for you to catch barramundi under the above conditions.
Because that's fishing.
But it's by sheer luck, though.
