Barramundi #995
Squidgies Fish
Saltwater culvert

It will have been raining two weeks tomorrow.
I couldn't expect this weather.

The sea was rough again today.
The sea water was muddy.
Normally, you would rather stay home than go out in this weather to fish.
However, there were some lulls in the rain for two days.
I went fishing to a saltwater culvert when it stopped at night.
The tide was full around 9:00pm.
21:07pm - 7.37m
The water depth of that culvert was getting shallower because of the deposition of sand and mud inside a water channel in recent years.
In addition, there were many obstacles to barramundi from swimming in the culvert.
It was difficult for a nice sized barramundi to swim through the culvert.
The water surface was flat.
Originally, the flat surface of the water should be very bad for fishing.
There was no moon light.
There were some very weak fish-strikings in the dark.

My fishing reel was very small in size tonight.
My fishing rod was very thin too.
I reduced the drag-force to the limits.
First, I hooked an about 50cm barramundi but couldn't land him.
That was just unlucky.
Finally, I caught a small barramundi in the culvert.
Of course, I released him in the water.
The mosquitoes were not terrible tonight.
That was very lucky.
