There was too much freshwater to fish on shore at that very day.
The seawater was very dirty yesterday.
Barramundi likes murky water but doesn't like dirty water.
The seawater became clean today.
I went to East Point to fish after work.
It's slightly windy which means good for fishing a barramundi.
I cast a Squidgy Pro Mongrel 90mm for the rocks.
It's not easy for beginner to control a lure when affected by the flow of the tide or the like around these rocks.
Even I sometimes couldn't prevent snagging at this point.
Barramundi came to find the bait and was swimming around the sidewalls of these rocks.
If you can stop your lure just in front of barramundi, you will as good as catch the fish.
I used that lure action as a matter of course.
I brought a Squidgy Pro Mongrel 90mm to a stop in the flow of the tide just along the sidewall of the rocks.
The barramundi took it at the moment when I started winding fishing lines.
As a result, I caught a 45cm small barramundi.
A 45cm fish was strong enough for a light fishing tackle.
I caught a barramundi first time in three weeks.
