Queenfish #23
YO-ZURI SS-MINNOW
Only one productive fishing window

The tides on March 29:
06:54am 3.12m
13:32pm 5.33m
20:48pm 4.88m

It had rained the day before.
There was bit of freshwater remaining in the sea on shore.
I went to Myilly Point rocks to fish in the morning.
The productive fishing windows were not many today.
There would be only one window just after the lowest tide in the morning.
That window was wide enough for my land-based fishing.
Fortunately, the sea was nicely rippled and very clear.
I had two short strikes from barramundi but couldn’t hook them.
Finally, I caught a queenfish on Yo-zuri SS-minnow at the very shallow water.
The water was only 20cm deep where I was casting. I used very light fishing reel and rod and so I enjoyed handling about five minutes pulling of the fish very much.

A lovely queenfish caught in shallow water on the Yo-zuri SS-minnow.
