Top man of our land besed 75cm and 56cm Barramundi RAPALA BX Minnow 10 Mr. Stephen Lew

The original top man of our land based Barramundi fishing was Mr. Allan Warchot.
I recommend Stephen for a new top man.


Stephen caught a 95cm Barramundi in July and a 106cm Barramundi in August.
Of course, he caught these above monster fish by land based at the very Darwin city region.

And today,

He caught a 75cm Barramundi and a 56cm Barramundi at his new point.

No one will have objection to it.
Mr. Stephen Lew is the top man of our land based Barramundy fishing now.

 Hi Hiro,

Finally broken the drought and caught a few nice fish.
I have found a new fishing spot near the...... where ..........
A nice just legal 56cm and a very hard fighting 75cm.
I will be fishing there more to work out the best tides for this new spot.

And so I couldn't use other lures.
I had to use the most trustworthy lure of mine.
Finally, I lost three Barramundi today.
Those were all small in size.

Urban big Barramundi and Queenfish By land based Mr. Ben Maunder

We haven't caught very nice sized Barramundi by land based these days.
I was surprised at Ben's result.
Because I know where he caught these following big fish.
It's a very Darwin city region.

Ben is a very good fishing friend of mine.
He has much longer experience of the land based Barramundi fishing than me.
I heard that very experienced and skilled anglers, Allan, Sam and Eddy are school friend of Ben.

Eddy is a very good fishing friend of mine.
He has a very long experience of the land based Barramundi fishing.
Much longer than mine.

I received an e-mail from Mr. Edmond Fong last night.
I was very happy with his e-mail because I knew he's been very busy these days.

Hi Hiro,

This morning I missed ABC Tales of the Tinnie live broadcast at Ski Club.
I didn’t know until I read the newspaper but it was over. It would have been good to go down and see the broadcast on the pontoon.
Today I fish point x on the incoming tide.
I moved with the tide and was flicking Squidgy Fish.
After half hour of following the tide I had a definite hit and hooked a Barramundi.
I was casting near rocks and the Barra seemed to be sitting behind it.
It pulled some drag out and jumped. I thought it was a keeper but it was 45cm. Catch and release.
There must be some bigger ones around. Next time.

Hiro I been using Squidgy Fish and Squidgy Mongrel but I still like the Squidgy Fish more because I have caught more fish on it (Barramundi, Golden Snapper and Rock Cod).
I will keep using it.
I need to see Matt West from Fishing and Outdoor World because the 45cm Barra ripped it apart.
I have no more left.

Saturday morning 53cm Barramundi 690 Reidy's Prototype Shallow Diver バラマンディールアー

This morning I joined ABC Tales of the Tinnie live broadcast at Ski Club.
The radio show started from 5:00am and finished at 7:00am.

Normally, I didn't fish there.
But I hooked two Barramundi.
Luckily, Mario saw it when I hooked the 2nd. Barramundi at the boat ramp.

I used a prototype lure.
Reidy's developed a very, very good shallow diver.

Finally, I caught some fish with this prototype lure today.

Rockcod
Catfish 

I didn't need any special lure-actions.
Steady retrieving, that's all!

Foil Barramundi recipe in Japan style

Mrs. Yumi Hipkin is a good hand at cooking.
She gave me the recipe of the foil Barramundi dish in Japan style.

Mr. Simon Hipkin is a very good friend of mine.
I've been using his computer for my blogging since the beginning of this year.
I'm borrowing his old computer now.

I made a very nice Barramundi dish tonight.

Directions

Rub fillets with olive oil, and paste with garlic, Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise (Woolworths, Coles), Japanese Miso (Woolworth, Coles) and white wine.

Place each fillet on a large sheet of aluminum foil.

Top with Shimeji mushrooms (Woolworths, Coles) and cheese.

Squeeze the juice from the ends of the lemons over the fish.

Seal the foil.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

I enjoyed the dish very much.

I used a very small #1000 spinning reel with a very light 10LB braid line.
Therefore, I could enjoy catching these Barramundi very much.

They jumped and shook their heads very hard.

SUSTAIN 1000FG was under a shower of sands because Barramundi put up a hard fight before it was released.
It's very bad for a fishing reel.  Very bad.
